2011 South Carolina Seafood Cook-Off Challenge
Presented by the Hotel, Motel and Restaurant Supply Show of the Southeast, the South Carolina Hospitality Association, and other sponsors. The winner of the competition will represent the state of South Carolina in the National “Great American Seafood Cook-Off”.
This is the inaugural South Carolina Seafood Challenge (SCSC), and will be an annual event! The event will be held Wednesday, January 26 and Thursday, January 27, 2011 in conjunction with the Hotel, Motel and Restaurant Supply Show of the Southeast (HMRSSS) at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
The winner will be crowned King or Queen of the South Carolina Seafood Challenge and will represent the State in the Great American Seafood Cook-Off to be held in New Orleans, LA, in conjunction with the Louisiana Restaurant Association Food Service Expo (LRA – www.LRA.org) in the New Orleans Morial Convention Center.
The winning chef and assistant’s airline tickets, hotel accommodations and entry fees for the National Competition will be handled by the HMRSSS.
All food/recipe ingredients, etc. will be the responsibility of the competing chef or as individually arranged.
