The South Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association, Post & Courier Columbia, Columbia Chamber, and the League of Women Voters will host a Mayoral Forum on Thursday, October 9 at The Nickelodeon.

This moderated event will feature Daniel Rickenmann (incumbent) and Jessica Thomas. 

This forum will provide an opportunity for the hospitality community to hear directly from those seeking to represent them. With a focus on key issues such as workforce development, tourism, business regulations, and public safety, the forum will include structured questions, timed responses, and opportunities for light rebuttal to promote an engaging and informative discussion.

Registration will begin at 4:00 p.m. and the forum will begin promptly at 4:30. While admission is free, pre-registration is required to reserve your seat.

Members of the press are invited; however, flash photography and videography will not be allowed.
