ServSafe Food Safety Classes
ServSafe is a National Restaurant Association food safety training program for all hospitality and foodservice personnel. The South Carolina Tourism and Hospitality Education Foundation has ongoing training opportunities for you and your employees.

ServSafe Alcohol Classes
The South Carolina Tourism and Hospitality Education Foundation’s responsible alcohol service program, approved by the SC Department of Revenue (SCDOR), is designed for on-premise liquor and beer and wine businesses. Developed by the National Restaurant Association its easy to retain and comprehensive  training approach is superior to others in the market.

Hospitality Day at the State House
South Carolina's hospitality industry hosts a legislative luncheon unlike any other event on the General Assembly's social calendar – “ a "Taste of South Carolina" featuring restaurants from all across the state serving a taste of their menu specialities.  Legislators rave about the quality and selection of foods and the extremely large and friendly industry turnout.  So much so, this event has become one of the highest rated gatherings on their extremely large social calendar.

Hospitality Leaders Golf Tournament featuring the Amazing Food and Beverage Race
Unique among golf outings, the Hospitality Leaders Golf Tournament is a "must" for South Carolina restaurateurs, hoteliers and the partners that supply them. Why? Because proceeds support something that everyone can get behind; the SC Tourism and Hospitality Education Foundation (THE Foundation). Stars of the Industry Awards
Each year the SCRLA and THE Foundation recognizes individuals and companies that make significant contributions to our industry, our state and nation that make the lodging industry a better place to work. A variety of awards are bestowed each year from Hotelier and Restaurateur of the year to a good earthkeeping  and a honor for the best special event. 

Carolinas ProStart Student Invitational
The Carolinas' ProStart Student Invitational held at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Center is a partnership between the North Carolina Hospitality Education Foundation and the South Carolina Hospitality and Tourism Education Foundation to host ProStart school to compete in a series of foodservice events.  The schools competed in two tracks –ProStart Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management.
