While in person hiring events have served our industry well for years, to help save time and resources we are hosting a virtual event to help you find the staff you need.

What is an online job fair?
Essentially, an online job fair is just like a traditional in-person career fair, but hosted exclusively online. Job seekers use a unique link to join the online career fair event, where they can view videos from recruiters and hiring managers, and chat in real time with you about the job openings you have available.

What are the benefits of Virtual Job Fairs?
Rather than spending money on time and travel to sit in a ballroom/expo hall all day, virtual fairs allow you to participate from the comfort of your office. Virtual career fairs are an opportunity for you to engage with potential candidates on their own terms and from the comfort of their homes.

How will job seekers know about the online job fair?
In partnership with SC DEW and SCWorks we will be promoting the online job fair using their database to email candidates that have previous hospitality experience.

We will also be using social media, text recruiting, and a targeted public relations campaign to promote the event in addition to hosted it our website calendar of events.

Will there be training before the online job fair?
Yes!  After you register you will receive a confirmation email from the online platform host (brazen.com) with additional links to set up your booth and watch YouTube tutorials on best practices. If this is your first time using a format like this, we encourage you to watch the tutorial videos to help make the best impression to fill your open positions. 

Will only South Carolina residence be able to participate in the online job fair?
No, anyone seeking employment with a South Carolina hospitality business will be invited to participate.
