Which student team will take home the prize for best pork slider and move on to the next round of competition? Come taste and decide at the Culinary Institute of the Carolinas student BBQ competition on Saturday, August 19, from 1-3pm at 556 Perry Ave. Greenville. A $20 ticket includes 5 sliders (1 from each team), sides, a drink, and a voting ticket to choose your favorite slider for the People's Choice Award. Beer from Carolina Bauernhaus is available separately. This fundraiser benefits local culinary students through the Culinary Institute of the Carolinas Hospitality Student Association. Tickets are limited to the first 100 purchased and cash donations will be accepted. (As this is a fundraiser for student activities, no refunds will be offered.) Click here to register for the event.
