The South Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association, Post & Courier Columbia, Columbia Chamber, and the League of Women Voters will host a City Council Election Forum on Wednesday, September 24 at The Nickelodeon.

This moderated event will feature At-Large City Council candidates Aditi Bussells (incumbent), Jared Lee Johnson, and Sam Johnson.

This forum will provide an opportunity for the hospitality community to hear directly from those seeking to represent them. With a focus on key issues such as workforce development, tourism, business regulations, and public safety, the forum will include structured questions, timed responses, and opportunities for light rebuttal to promote an engaging and informative discussion.

Registration will begin at 4:00 p.m. and the forum will begin promptly at 4:30. While admission is free, pre-registration is required to reserve your seat.
