South Carolina ProStart Competition boot camp provides a crash course in many areas of the culinary and management competition. New and returning teachers are invited and encouraged to attend. The boot camp will help you prepare your students to compete in both culinary and management competitions.

Hotel accommodations will be provided for teachers needing to stay overnight or Thursday and Friday evenings. The SCRLA will pay for hotel room and tax, you will be responsible for any personal incidental charges.
Travel Stipend
Participating teachers will receive a round-trip mileage reimbursement at 0.56 per mile rom the school to the hotel. A request form must be submitted no later than February 15, 2016 along with a google map print out. Forms will be provided following the workshop.
Substitute Teacher Reimbursement
Schools/districts requiring substitute reimbursement may receive a maximum of $70 to cover the cost of a substitute teacher. Schools/Districts must submit an invoice no later thank February 28, 2015 to christal@scrla.org or mail to SCRLEF, PO Box 7577, Columbia, SC 29202.
