Please join us for the Florence SCRLA and Sports Council Meeting at 9:00 AM, Thursday May 21, 2026, at the Hilton Garden Inn, Florence. This meeting will be a crucial opportunity for us to connect, share insights, and get prepared for upcoming changes in our industry. The agenda will include: A "Listening Session" with the new SCRLA CEO, Mark Newman: We want to hear from you! Please come prepared to discuss what you need from the SCRLA Florence Chapter to help your business and career thrive. Your feedback is essential as we plan for the future. Showcasing Member Success Stories: We'll be kicking off a new initiative to highlight how SCRLA has helped members overcome challenges and achieve success. We invite you to come prepared to share a brief testimonial or success story that we can feature on our social media channels and at future events. Growing Our Chapter Together: Let's discuss a plan for new member recruitment! We'll explore strategies for hosting a new event, such as a mixer or a joint meeting with other local business groups, to attract and welcome new members to our chapter. SCRLA Updates: Get the latest news and updates from the South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association and learn how we're working to support your interests at the state level. The Value of Your SCRLA Membership: This is a great opportunity for a refresher! We'll review the tangible benefits of being an SCRLA member, including exclusive discounts on everything from workers' compensation insurance and credit card processing to ServSafe certifications. We'll also highlight our advocacy efforts to protect the hospitality industry at the state level.
Your participation is incredibly valuable as we navigate these changes together.
Florence area chapter meetings are for restaurant, lodging and allied members in the Pee Dee area to discuss issues of importance for our industry., The meeting is held in conjunction with the Florence Sports Council to network with other local operators and our suppliers, learn techniques to improve our business, be informed of the politics that relate to our business and realize ways hoteliers and restaurateurs can increase profits.
