The Governor Friday afternoon changed the verbiage as it relates to face coverings for restaurants.

The most recent Executive Order issues on March 5, 2021 changed the verbiage as it relates to face coverings for restaurants.

NEW Verbiage effective immediately: Restaurants should require that all employees, customers, patrons, suppliers, vendors, and other visitors wear Face Coverings, as defined in Section 2(D) of this Order, except while actively engaged in eating or drinking, subject to any applicable exceptions set forth in Section 2(C)(1)–(10) of this Order.

OLD Verbiage: Restaurants shall require that all employees, customers, patrons, suppliers, vendors, and other visitors wear Face Coverings, as defined in Section 2(D) of this Order, except while actively engaged in eating or drinking, subject to any applicable exceptions set forth in Section 2(C)(1)–(10) of this Order

Restaurants are highly encouraged to have staff and guests wear a face covering for optimal protection.

Local municipalities with face coverings/mask mandates may remain in effect, reach out to your local office to verify before making any changes.

We will update this as we get more information.
