RRF Grants: Next Steps

We are excited for today’s launch of the Small Business Administration’s Restaurant Revitalization Fund grant program.  The SBA has done incredible work in assembling this program in such a short period of time, and we appreciate our partnership with them.

It will not surprise you that the total number of applicants is going to exceed expectations – and may quickly exhaust the $28.6 billion in federal funding.

The restaurant industry continues to face a number of challenges as we come back online, and we will need to stay active with policymakers at the federal, state, and local level.  The National Restaurant Association is already meeting with lawmakers to identify how best to provide additional funding for the RRF, allowing the program to provide more relief to struggling restaurants of every type.  We will keep you updated on next steps.

If you have not submitted an application yet, please do so TODAY.  SBA’s grant site has the application information, and we have produced a step-by-step guide to filling out the application, as well as a FAQ document.  We have hosted multiple webinars with SBA officials on how the program works.
