UPSTATE HOSPITALITY AWARDS - CALL FOR ENTRIES

 

Join the Upstate Chapters of the South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association for the 6th annual Upstate Hospitality Awards Monday, November 5th at the Marriott Greenville. The ceremony honors the best of the best in the Upstate’s hospitality industry.

 

The Upstate Hospitality Awards offer you, as hotel and restaurant operators, the opportunity to nominate your outstanding employees, offering not only recognition within the company, but in the Upstate of South Carolina for their contribution to your business.  

 

Nominations are accepted from SCRLA members in the Upstate (Anderson, Greenville, Pickens and Spartanburg Counties)

 

Recipients of the Upstate awards will be automatically nominated into the statewide SCRLA Stars

of South Carolina Hospitality Awards.

 

Award Categories:

 

Restaurant Category

  • Front of the House Employee of the Year 
  • Heart (back) of the House Employee of the Year 
  • Restaurant Manager of the Year (Shift Manager or Department Head positions)
  • Restaurateur of the Year (General Manager, Operating Partner, Corporate Executive or Owner)

Lodging Category

  • Front of the House Employee of the Year
  • Heart (back) of the House Employee of the Year
  • Lodging Manager of the Year (Shift Manager or Department Head positions)
  • Hotelier of the Year (General Manager, Management Company Executive or Owner)

Open Category 

  • Outstanding Chef of the Year
  • Outstanding Bartender of the Year 
  • Hospitality Educator of the Year
  • Outstanding Hospitality Supplier of the Year
    • Large Company
    • Small Company
  • Outstanding Community Service Program 
    • Large Company
    • Small Company
  • Outstanding Community Leader
    • Public sector
    • Private sector
 Please use the official nomination form below and include additional material to describe why your nominee deserves the award. Provide examples and give as much specific information as possible. Printed and other supporting materials should be included. Examples include undertaking special services, showing outstanding leadership qualities, performing heroic deeds or consistently adding to the general well-being of the hospitality industry.

 

The nomination deadline is Monday September 24, 2018.

 

The awards luncheon ceremony will be held on Monday November 5, 2018 at the Marriott Greenville
