Columbia Hospitality COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic

Front line hospitality employees and any other person in phase 1A and 1B that wish to receive the COVID-19 vaccine can sign up below.   This event is open to the public to sign up as a service of the SC Restaurant and Lodging Association, The Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center and Lovelace Family Practice.

Complimentary parking available in the parking lot between the center and the Colonial Life Arena. There is also a city parking deck (at a fee) behind the Hilton Hotel.

Please note: If there is no available times in a particular section, you will need to check a different time frame. 

 

It is important that you arrive no more than 5-10 minutes early for your appointment.  

  • The injection will be given in the top part of your arm (3 finger lengths down from your shoulder). Please wear clothing that makes your upper arm easily accessible for your vaccination. We will be in a large room and you will not be able to remove clothing.
  • Be prepared to wait for 15 minutes to be monitored after receiving your vaccination.  If you have a history of a severe allergic reaction that required the use of an Epipen or treatment at a hospital, you will need to be monitored for 30 minutes after your vaccination.

  • If you have received any other vaccines in the past 14 days, you will need to reschedule your Covid-19 vaccine appointment to a later date.
  • If you are currently immunocompromised, pregnant, or are receiving special medical treatments and are not sure if you should be vaccinated, you should consult your physician or specialist for advice prior to your vaccine appointment.
  • If you tested POSITIVE for Covid-19 in the past 2 weeks, you will need to reschedule your vaccination appointment.

 

What to bring with you:

 

  • Bring your ID with your name to verify your name.
  • Bring your health insurance card, if you have one. Your insurance will be billed at no cost to you. You do not need to be insured to receive the vaccine.
  • To save time, download, print and complete the Vaccine Consent Form

 

There is no cost or administration fee to receive the vaccine. The federal government is providing the vaccine free of charge to all people living in the United States for uninsured patients by the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Provider Relief Fund. There is no co-pay for people with public or private insurance. No one should receive a bill for receiving the vaccine.
